“Adobo with a Twist” with Kulinarya’s Rose Samaniego – Online Kitchen
Join us on Zoom on Thursday, October 21, 6-7pm, for the next online cooking demonstration of the Spring Street Community Kitchen, a partnership between St. John’s Anglican Church, Port Moody and Inlet United Church.
Our special guest chef is Rose Samaniego, owner of Kulinarya Filipino Eatery in Coquitlam and Vancouver, and former partner/co-founder of GRIT Studio and Cafe in Port Moody. Rose will be teaching us how to make the traditional Filipino dish adobo, with a twist! As always, there will be opportunities to ask questions and share conversation with others.
Donations raised in support of our Spring Street Community Kitchen are being re-gifted to the communities we serve. Funds raised for this gathering will be gifted to The Coquitlam Youth Parent Program, housed at CABE Secondary School, which provides an opportunity for pregnant and parenting youth to continue their education in a supportive and flexible environment. The program has both an education component and an on-site infant/toddler daycare.
Pre-registration is required for this free event – please email your name and email address to SpringStreetCommunityKitchen@gmail.com to be included on the list to receive Zoom connection information.
We invite you to like and follow the Spring Street Community Kitchen at our Facebook page, where you will find links to videos of past kitchens as well as recipes!
