Making Breakfast & Lunch for Our Neighbours in Need!

Making Breakfast & Lunch for Our Neighbours in Need!

Join St. John’s for our second in-person Spring Street Community Kitchen on Thursday, Mar. 9, 6-8pm, to be held this time at Inlet United Church.

Pre-registration is required for this free event. Please send your name and email address to SpringStreetCommunityKitchen@gmail.com

We will be making a breakfast casserole and lunch sandwiches to be served to guests of the Cold Wet Weather Mat program (hosted by Coquitlam Alliance Church in March). The program offers shelter, meals, and resources to those in need in our wider community throughout the winter months.

All ingredients and equipment will be provided; you are invited to bring items that can be added to packed lunches, e.g. juice boxes, fruit or jello cups (with spoons), fresh fruit, cheese strings, and granola bars.

There will also be some social time after we are done cooking to visit with old and new friends!

The Spring Street Community Kitchen is a partnership between St. John’s Anglican Church and Inlet United Church in Port Moody. We invite you to like and follow us at our Facebook page, where you will find links to videos of past kitchens as well as recipes!
