Friday, March 6 2026 at 1:00pm – World Day of Prayer
You’re invited to join St. John Port Moody’s Anglican Church Women group, as we host a special gathering to observe the ecumenical World Day of Prayer. We will be viewing the worship service titled “I Will Give You Rest: Come”, produced by the World Day of Prayer Committee of Nigeria. The service will be followed by tea and Nigerian snacks. Everyone is warmly welcome. To assist with catering, please let peopleswarden@stja.ca know if you will be attending by Tuesday, 3 March. All Are Welcome for Ash Wednesday
Join us at St. John’s as we begin the season of Lent together as a community on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 7pm. There will be beautiful music and scripture, as well as Communion and ashes for those who would like to receive them. All ages are welcome. The service will be hybrid (in-person and Zoom). All Are Welcome for Ash Wednesday
Join us at St. John’s as we begin the season of Lent together as a community on Wednesday, Feb. 22. There will be two opportunities to observe Ash Wednesday: a morning service (spoken) at 10am and an evening service (with music) at 7pm. Both services will have Communion and ashes for those who would like to receive them. All ages are welcome. The 10am service will be in-person only, and the 7pm service will be hybrid (in-person and Zoom). The Zoom link for the 7pm service can be found here.
