You’re invited to join St. John Port Moody’s Anglican Church Women group, as we host a special gathering to observe the ecumenical World Day of Prayer. We will be viewing the worship service titled “I Will Give You Rest: Come”, produced by the World Day of Prayer Committee of Nigeria. The service will be followed by tea and Nigerian snacks. All Are Welcome for Ash Wednesday
Join us at St. John’s as we begin the season of Lent together as a community on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 7pm. There will be beautiful music and scripture, as well as Communion and ashes for those who would like to receive them. All ages are welcome. The service will be hybrid (in-person and Zoom). Community Garden & Back to School Party!
A garden party/BBQ to launch the Community Garden—as well as to celebrate students going back to school—is planned for Saturday, Sept. 9 from 4 to 6 pm. There will be outdoor music and fun for children… face painting, rocks painting, golf clinic; hot dogs and cold beverages will be served. This event is open to the wider community. There is no charge but donations are welcome.
