NEW THIS WEEK

Tri-Cities Winter Shelter Program

Thank you to all who helped at this program in support of homeless people in our community. We had at least eight people participate in some way to feed the guests of the program held at St.Laurence throughout the month of October. Truly, faithful stewards of the gifts of God to care for people of God….

Stewardship Reflection

Prepared by Ven. Dr. Michael Pollesel.        Matthew 5:1-12

Today’s passage could be seen as describing the characteristics of what it takes to be a faithful steward. Can you see yourself in any of the descriptions Jesus offers? If so congratulations! If not —why not?

Spring Street Community Kitchen
The Spring Street Community Kitchen will be hosting one last event in 2023 and that will be a “cookie jar” making party followed by Christmas caroling at St. John’s Anglican Church (Port Moody) on Saturday, December 9th at 3pm. MORE details to come about how you can contribute to this event. Cookie jars and proceeds will be donated to the SFU Campus Ministry which will host food pantries for students in the new year. We are going to need supplies and volunteers to help us before we open the doors to all who want to purchase jars and sing, so please save the date and help us make this event a success!
