Cookies & Caroling

Cookies & Caroling

St. John’s Port Moody is hosting a Cookie and Caroling event on Saturday, Dec. 3! Everyone of all ages is welcome.

It will be a Christmas-themed afternoon, and will have 2 parts (feel free to come to one or both):

  • 3:30-4:30pm – making Christmas cookie mixes-in-a-jar with the Spring St. Community Kitchen in the Parish Hall
  • 4:30-5:30pm – carol singalong upstairs in the church

Donations will be collected for the Tri-Cities Cold Wet Weather Mat Program.

Admission to the cookie-mix-making is free, with suggested donations for the completed jars of cookie mixes – $5 for pint jars, and $10 for quart jars.

Caroling is by donation.

Pre-registration is required for cookie-making. RSVP appreciated for caroling – please email your name and email address to SpringStreetCommunityKitchen@gmail.com. St. John’s is located at 2208 St. John’s Street, Port Moody – the Parish Hall can be accessed via Spring St.

Note: Masks are recommended during the cookie-mix-making, whenever social distancing is not possible; masks will be required during the caroling.

The Spring Street Community Kitchen is a partnership between St. John’s Anglican Church and Inlet United Church in Port Moody. We invite you to like and follow us at our Facebook page, where you will find links to videos of past kitchens as well as recipes!
