PARISH PROFILE
The Canonical Committee has now prepared the first draft of the St. John the Apostle parish profile, which is provided on the link below. It will be submitted to our Diocesan Bishop Melissa Skelton for her review prior to being finalized and used in the process of advertising for a new priest for the parish.
You are invited to read this document and consider whether it describes the parish’s present situation and future goals. It will not be edited exhaustively before it goes to the bishop, but the Canonical Committee does want to know if there are substantial gaps or areas that might misrepresent the parish to a potential applicant.
The accompanying document is the result of many hours of hard work, information gathering, and reflection from your Canonical Committee whom you tasked with this responsibility. Please support the process by taking the time to read it. If you cannot open the PDF attachment, you may contact the parish office to arrange to pick up a paper copy.
